family’s son died suddenly just days before his high school graduation, leaving
them saddened and in grief. At 18, AJ Serrato was a senior at his high school,
a great baseball player, a man of God, and a big brother. According to his
family, the news of his passing was devastating since he was so much more to
them and the community. The parents of AJ Serrato have claimed that he drowned
during a party because he was the only one to jump into the water. Social media
quickly became inundated with messages of support for AJ and his loved ones in
the following hours. Serrato was the oldest of four children, and his three
younger brothers and sisters all followed in his footsteps by becoming baseball
